Springville FUMC Youth Groups

The Springville FUMC has groups for the youth to join and participate in a great variety of activities. Activities such as, fund raising events, organized games and outings to area attractions, Creation Music Fest, Missions trips and many other fun and interesting things. The Youth Groups are broken into a junior and senior
groups. Junior is 6th graders to 8th graders, and seniors are 9th graders to 12th graders. The youth groups allow the members a chance to get together with others and have fun and at the same time develope into young adults that are ready to serve thier church and communities. You don't have to be a member of the church to participate. Our youth ministry is growing rapidly and it is an exciting time, so come to a meeting or an activity and bring a friend, all are welcomed, but be ready to have a good time and meet great people.

"Impact" exists to reach teenagers without faith in our community and connect ourselves with other believers while mentoring all to exalt and live for God.

Mexico Mission Trip 08
The trip will be from July 4th to the 13th, 2008. We will be heading South of the border to Juarez Mexico. This is a truly wonderful opportunity to travel to another country and experience a differant culture while giving help to those in need. A missions trip of this caliber requires alot of planning as well as financial backing. We will be relying on fund raisers, the church family, the community and businesses, as well as friends and family members. It will also mean hard work and some sacrifices, but the benefits and rewards will be far greater!

The planning is working out, the fundraising is going well, the mission team members and adult chaperones are in place, we will be leaving before you know it! Those of you who are going need to get your passports by April, and start gathering a list of things you need to take. Keep checking with Pastor Eric for travel tips, airline regulations and updates. Below is a photo of the Members of the "Mexico Crew".

The entire Youth Group wishes to thank everyone that supports them by attending fund raising events or buying fund raising products or by generous donations or by your prayers! It is with your continued support that we are able to do all the things we do.

Change Wars!
The Change wars are here! The men of the church are at war with the women of the church! The battle is fought by donating all the change they have. At each worship service from April 20th until May 18th you will see 2 large containers, one for the men, one for the women. Which ever has the most money in it on May 18th will be declared the winners! And what will they win? Well the entire congregation will win the prize. We will all get to have ICE CREAM! The winners will be served first by the loosers and only after that can the loosers have theirs! The winners also get bragging rights, so if you want your side to win start putting change in the containers. All the change collected will go to the Mexico Mission Trip Team.
