Today we bring our summer series on Growing the Fruit to a close by considering the aspect of the Fruit of the Spirit that is peace. So much in the world is actively working against our experience of God’s peace, and yet our call in following Jesus is to be growing to be more and more like the Prince of Peace. As we prepare our hearts to join at Christ’s Table today in Communion, may the Spirit work in our hearts as we are ministered to by the peace of Christ. Philippians 4:4-9 will help guide us as we worship.
