When the beginning and ending of faith in Jesus has to do with where someone goes when they die Christianity goes in directions that miss what Jesus was inviting us to. Sure it’s important to trust in the work of Christ for our salvation, but this Eastertide we ask, what does it look like to embrace resurrection power today? When asked about when the Kingdom of God would come, Jesus’ response was that it isn’t something that is coming, because it is already here. We are invited to be part of the way God’s Kingdom grows in this world. James 2 will help us reflect on how the Kingdom is Here as we worship this morning.
