We recently celebrated Pentecost, “The Birthday of the Church”. We acknowledged that the Church is God’s people, not a particular building or institution. If we follow this truth, we begin to realize that the Church is operating outside the walls of the local church building more often than it is inside. Since summer gets us WNY’ers out and about more regularly than our colder seasons, we take this week in our Jesus and His Church series to reflect on our ministry Outside the Walls.
