Last week we saw the power of healing continue from Jesus’ ministry into the early church. That faithful work that Peter and John did, along with the number of Christians continuing to grow into the thousands, was becoming a problem for the religious leaders of Jerusalem. As we continue our current worship series, Acting Up: The Book of Acts for today, we look at how the Holy Spirit gave them the power to stand up when pressured and the courage to keep on going when told not to. Acts 4:1-13 will be our guide today as we worship.
