The “10 Commandments” are still respected today and thought to be important foundational guidance for life together. For most of the ten, it’s pretty clear that they deal with our relationship to God or other people. One doesn’t seem to fit that category as neatly as the others. “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy” isn’t supported by the culture in the way it once was, and seems to have taken on a much different priority even for Christians. Today we put our hearts before the Lord with Exodus 20:8-11 and ask the question, is Sabbath for today?
