Summer offers us opportunities that we don’t always have, and even as we take advantage of those things it is always good to gather with others and praise the Lord! While it is good to connect with a congregation that helps us to worship God in a way that is meaningful to us, may we never forget that God the Father is the object of our worship and not our own desires. Let us join with King David in the words of Psalm 122 when he said, “I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
