It is always a special time to be able to receive communion as part of worship. We considered our other sacrament, baptism, last week. In doing so we thought about how sacraments are outward and visible signs of an inward and spiritual grace. Meaning that as significant and meaningful as the act of communion may be for us, Christ is up to something far deeper as we receive his grace in the act than we can see or imagine.
