God made us to be in relationship with others. We have specific relationships that have blessed us and helped make us who we are today. We also know that even though Jesus has defeated death through resurrection, we will experience the grief of losing people who have built into us in our lives. We will make space as we worship today to be grateful for those who have invested in us, and for those that we have lost we will have the opportunity to acknowledge that loss and seek Christ for comfort. Bring a flower to represent the beautiful things those who have gone on to be with Jesus have brought to your life. We will be bringing the flowers together to make a bouquet that represents this beauty in our lives.
