Today is Pentecost! This is the day that is considered the birthday of the Church, because following the resurrection of Jesus, the disciples received the promised Holy Spirit and the Church exploded in growth from that day. We worship and welcome the Holy Spirit, who is always present with us. We seek God to empower us for his mission in the world.
