It can be so easy to look at the situations of life and focus on what we don’t have. In difficult relationships we don’t have the answers. One of the gifts that the Christian faith gives us is a Christ-centered perspective in life. Maybe we don’t have the material wealth that we need at the moment. It could be that we are looking for answers to important things in our lives. The truth that should help us grow in our trust is an understanding that Jesus is never lacking. Our God is the one who made all things and holds all things, scarcity is not an issue with the Almighty. Even when we find ourselves lacking in one area of our lives, it may be to open us to realize that Jesus is meeting us in another place with abundant blessings beyond what we can imagine. Luke 20:45-21:4 will help us focus on Abundance and Sacrifice as we worship the Lord today.
