This is such a strange weekend when it comes to knowing where people are. Some are lingering with leftover turkey sandwiches and thinking about raking the rest of the leaves. Others have already sprinted ahead and finished their holiday shopping in the last 48 hours. Most are somewhere in between. Advent is a season of preparation and waiting. Regardless of other obligations and distraction, let’s keep Christ in the midst of it all. We begin the season of Advent this morning and wake up our hearts with Mark 13:24-37.
