One of the important reminders that we find in scriptures about the trouble in our world is that “our battle is not against flesh and blood”. This passage specifically addresses spiritual realities that are part of the brokenness and struggle in our world, and there is also truth to the idea regarding both external and internal factors that kill our hope. As we bring our Grasping for Hope series to a close today, Ephesians 6:10-17 will guide our hearts as we worship and consider how to play great defense against the hope killers in our lives.
