In busy lives it becomes too easy to push Jesus to the side of our lives. Even to regularly make space for worship and prayer, are these the center of what feeds us, or are they on the fringe, pushed aside for other priorities. When we encounter Jesus there is a pull in our hearts to make more and more room to let the Holy Spirit work in our lives. This reordering and changing of priorities is one of the practical ways that we lay down our lives and pick up the cross in our daily lives. This morning John 12:1-11 will guide us in worship as we consider when worship costs us more than expected.
